A Scottish Success – REID take to the road for a week of customer visits, exhibitions, and events!

It was a busy week last week with four of our team members making their way from our HQ in Chepstow, South Wales up to Glasgow and Aberdeen, Scotland!

First stop, Glasgow!

Attending our first Pump Centre event in Glasgow, REID Sales Director, Stuart Linnitt and Product Manager, David Prout showcased leading products in the water and wastewater sector – the PORTAGANTRY RAPIDE and TDAVIT.

The Pump Centre is an organisation that provides expertise, training and networking around water pumps, water pumping systems and relates water plants, equipment as well as wastewater treatment. Each year, they host a series of exhibitions and conferences around the UK.

This years’ conference topic was "Standardization for a Net Zero Future" with the intention of highlighting standardisation opportunities and how they may support Scottish Water's efforts to achieve net zero carbon emissions.

Missed us at this years Scottish Pump Centre Water Expo?  Join us at Anglian Water in Peterborough on 9th November where our Technical Sales Engineers will be hand to provide product demonstrations and share technical advice and information.

Next stop, Aberdeen!

Our Technical Sales Engineer, Victoria Badnell and Marketing Manager, Laura Morgan made their way up to Scotland from our Monmouthshire HQ last week in order to engage with current and future customers face to face post COVID and to provide demonstrations of our product range, all whilst carrying out some market and product research.

Victoria and Laura had the pleasure of attending AMS Global Group and 3Point’s ‘Meet the Supplier’ pop-up networking event at the OGV Taproom in Aberdeen with suppliers and had a great time demonstrating our PORTAGANTRY RAPIDE. After COVID restrictions, the social was a great opportunity for our team to be able to meet our customers face to face as opposed to over the phone!

Awards Season has begun!

A key date in the diary for many within the lifting industry – the LEEA Liftex Exhibition & Awards. This years’ event was hosted at P&J Live, Aberdeen. The two-day event featured many of the leading lifting industry specialists showcasing product, followed by the annual Awards evening.

LEEA is an established association for all those involved in the lifting industry; their mission is to ‘educate, influence and enable so that best practice is everyday action.’ LiftEx unites the industry through educational as well as technical sessions and presentations on innovation. LEEA certainly pulled out all the stops and produced a showstopping evening that was enjoyed by all.
