Robust Construction
Combining corrosion-resistant materials and robust construction to deliver reliable performance
Robust Construction
Built for demanding lifting environments, the Plus Winch combines a robust steel body and zinc-plated drum with a choice of galvanized or stainless steel cable, delivering long-lasting durability, corrosion resistance, and reliable performance in tough industrial applications.
The heavy-duty steel construction provides the strength required for frequent use in challenging environments, helping operators lift with confidence while reducing the risk of damage from everyday knocks, impacts, and harsh site conditions. The zinc-plated drum adds an extra layer of protection against corrosion, extending the service life of the winch and helping to reduce maintenance requirements over time.
To suit a wide range of applications, the Plus Winch is available with either galvanized or stainless steel cable. Both options offer excellent durability, while the stainless steel cable provides enhanced resistance to corrosion in wet, coastal, or highly demanding environments. Together, these features help maximise equipment longevity, minimise downtime, and ensure dependable lifting performance wherever the job takes place.
Fast setup & deployment
Reduce setup time, minimise operator effort, and keep lifting operations moving
Fast setup & deployment
Designed to improve efficiency during setup, the Plus Winch combines a free spool cable system for rapid cable deployment, and simple-to-fit mounting brackets for quick installation. Weighing just 14kg, the winch is easy to transport, handle, and store, making it ideal for teams that regularly move equipment between sites or applications.
The free spool function allows operators to extend the cable quickly without winding, significantly reducing deployment time. Quick-connect brackets further simplify installation, allowing crews to spend less time assembling equipment and more time completing the job.
For fleet operators and site teams, these features translate into faster deployment, increased productivity, and reduced downtime between lifts. Whether supporting planned maintenance, reactive repairs, or multi-site operations, the Plus Winch helps keep projects on schedule while reducing the physical demands placed on operators.
Controlled load handling
Precise control, smooth operation, and confident load positioning
Controlled load handling
Maintaining control of a suspended load is critical to both operator safety and lifting efficiency. The Plus Winch incorporates a range of features designed to ensure smooth, secure, and predictable load handling throughout every stage of the lift.
A spur-gear drive mechanism with an integrated load pressure brake provides controlled lifting and lowering, preventing unintended load movement and giving operators greater confidence when positioning materials. This is particularly valuable when working in confined spaces, over sensitive equipment, or where precise placement is essential.
The double cable clasp securely anchors the cable to the drum, helping to maintain load security even in demanding applications. Combined with the braking system, it provides an additional layer of safety and reliability during lifting operations.
To further enhance performance, the built-in cable tensioner promotes consistent cable layering across the drum, reducing the risk of uneven winding, cable bunching, and tangles. This helps ensure smoother operation, extends cable life, and minimises downtime caused by cable management issues.
Together, these features deliver precise load control, improved operational safety, and dependable performance, helping operators lift and lower materials with confidence in industrial, utility, water treatment, infrastructure, and maintenance environments.
Enhanced Usability
Reduced Effort, Increased Productivity
Enhanced Usability
Manual lifting equipment is often used repeatedly throughout the day, sometimes in remote locations where powered lifting solutions are unavailable or impractical. In these environments, operator fatigue can quickly impact productivity, comfort, and overall efficiency.
The Plus Winch addresses this challenge with a variable-length handle, allowing operators to adapt the winch to the task at hand. A shorter handle radius can be used when lifting lighter loads and prioritising speed, while a longer handle radius provides additional leverage when handling heavier loads. This flexibility allows operators to optimise performance without compromising control.
The system is also designed with a low crank force requirement, meaning less physical effort is needed to lift and lower loads. This helps reduce strain on the operator’s shoulders, arms, and back during repetitive lifting tasks, particularly when the equipment is used frequently throughout a shift.
By reducing the amount of force required to operate the winch, the Plus Winch can also contribute to improved manual handling practices. Operators are able to maintain better working posture and exert less physical effort, supporting safer operation and reducing the likelihood of fatigue-related errors during lifting activities.
Adaptable to every lift
A flexible winching solution that adapts to different lifting requirements.
Adaptable to every lift
The Plus Winch is available with cable lengths ranging from 10m to 20m, allowing operators to select the most appropriate configuration for their specific application. Whether lifting within shallow access areas or working over greater depths, having multiple cable length options helps ensure the winch is optimised for the task, avoiding unnecessary excess cable while providing the reach required for safe and efficient lifting.
To further enhance versatility, the Plus Winch is available with both galvanized and stainless steel cable options. Galvanized cable provides a durable solution for general industrial applications, while stainless steel cable offers increased corrosion resistance for wet, coastal, wastewater, and other demanding environments.
The winch is also designed for compatibility across a wide range of Reid Davit and Gantry systems, enabling the same winch to be used across multiple lifting setups. Combined with simple-to-fit mounting brackets, this allows operators to move equipment between applications quickly and helps fleet managers standardise equipment across their lifting fleet.
For organisations managing multiple sites or lifting systems, this flexibility reduces equipment inventories, simplifies maintenance and training requirements, and enables greater utilisation of existing assets. Rather than purchasing dedicated winches for different applications, operators can deploy a single, adaptable solution across a variety of lifting challenges.
