Lightweight, Portable Two-piece Design
Delivering strength in a portable, tool-free, compact lifting system
Lightweight, Portable Two-piece Design
Designed for easy transportation, handling, and deployment, the TDavit Shackled features a lightweight two-piece construction that helps reduce manual handling concerns during both transportation and assembly. Engineered for portability, the system can be assembled and operated by a single person without the need for tools, enabling faster setup and dismantling while reducing downtime on site.
Manufactured using high-quality engineered components and advanced production techniques, the TDavit Shackled delivers an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, providing impressive lifting performance without the bulk associated with traditional lifting structures. Its compact, modular design makes it particularly well suited to confined spaces, remote locations, and applications where lifting equipment must be moved frequently between work areas. The result is a highly portable lifting solution that combines ease of use, rapid deployment, and robust lifting capability in a single system.
Configurable beams & columns
Meet your lifting requirements with a wide range of beam and column options.
Configurable beams & columns
Different working heights, reach requirements, load characteristics, site layouts, and access restrictions often demand a lifting solution that can adapt without compromising safety or efficiency. The TDavit Shackled has been engineered with flexibility at its core, offering multiple beam and column combinations that allow users to tailor the system to their specific application. With a range of reach and height-of-lift options available, operators can configure the system to suit confined spaces, elevated work areas, deep access points, or applications where additional outreach is required.
Every TDavit configuration also features two pin positions, providing operators with the ability to make quick adjustments to lifting geometry using the same system. This enables users to optimise working radius and lifting height to better suit changing site conditions without the need for additional equipment.
Double Shackle Head
Supporting multiple lifting configurations with a simple and flexible attachment point.
Double Shackle Head
The TDavit Shackled is fitted with a double shackle head, providing a simple and flexible attachment point for a wide range of lifting and safety equipment. Whether connecting manual chain hoists, lifting blocks, fall arrest devices or rescue equipment the shackled design allows operators to quickly configure the system to suit the task at hand without the need for dedicated lifting hardware.
This flexibility makes the TDavit Shackled particularly valuable for organisations carrying out varied lifting operations across multiple locations. Rather than being restricted to a specific winch or lifting appliance, users have the freedom to select the most appropriate equipment for the application, enabling the same davit to support different lifting requirements. This can help reduce equipment inventories, maximise asset utilisation, and simplify deployment across diverse work environments.
The double shackle arrangement also provides a straightforward and robust connection method, helping operators attach and remove equipment quickly while maintaining confidence in the lifting setup.
360° Rotation under load
Rotate and position loads with precision, helping operators work more safely and efficiently.
360° Rotation under load
The TDavit Shackled is designed around Reids universal 65mm kingpin, allowing the system to rotate a full 360° while carrying a load. Rather than having to repeatedly reposition the davit, operators can smoothly move loads through the required lifting path by simply rotating the system around its socket position. This not only improves control during lifting and lowering operations but also helps maintain safer handling of suspended loads throughout the task.
In confined spaces, around obstacles, or in areas with restricted access, the ability to rotate under load provides greater freedom of movement while helping to minimise manual intervention. This can reduce setup adjustments, improve workflow, and allow lifting operations to be completed more quickly and effectively.
Weld-free design
Reducing maintenance needs and increasing product life span.
Weld-free design
The TDavit Shackled has been designed from the ground up for exceptional durability and a long service life. A key part of this design is the elimination of welded joints. This not only makes the unit lighter and easier to transport in many applications, but also removes the need for costly, time-consuming weld inspections and significantly reduces the potential for failure points to develop later in the product’s life cycle.
Corrosion Resistant
Tough, durable, and corrosion-resistant in demanding environments.
Corrosion Resistant
Built from lightweight aluminium and finished with a clean anodised coating, the TDavit Shackled is designed to perform reliably in demanding industrial and outdoor environments. The anodisation process increases resistance to corrosion, wear and everyday damage, helping to protect the system throughout its service life while maintaining a professional, low-maintenance finish.
This makes the TDavit Shackled particularly well suited to applications in water and wastewater, utilities, marine, infrastructure and industrial maintenance, where lifting equipment is regularly exposed to moisture, harsh weather and challenging site conditions.
